To open Hogwarts Legacy level 1 locks you'll need to find caretaker Gladwin Moon who will teach you Alohom*ora, the unlocking charm. For a price. To master the spell and level it up you'll have to collect demiguise statues but it's worth for all the extra stuff you can get from unlocking doors.

Step 1: Learn the Alohamora spell by playing through the main story quest called "The Caretaker's Lunar Lament." Step 2: This will let you pick locks at level 1. Step 3: Find a lock at a level you can pick and cast the spell. Step 4: Use the left and right sticks to control the two colored sparks on screen.

Click on Exploration, and then scroll down to the Merlin Trials tab.
