How to find the UPI transaction ID
- Open Google Pay

- Tap See transaction history.
- To find the UPI transaction ID, tap the transaction.

How to verify the transaction on your bank statement
On the account statement for the bank connected to your Google Pay account:
- Locate the transaction date of the transaction in question.
- Match the UPI transaction ID found in the Google Pay app to the UPI transaction ID on your bank statement. The UPI transaction ID is the first 9 digits after the slash (/).
- Match the amount in the debit section of your statement to the amount of the transaction in Google Pay.
- Confirm the debit amount is not included in the closing balance on your bank statement.
- Check for a reversal with the same UPI transaction ID and amount in the credit section of your bank statement.

Fix common issues
- If the amount is still not credited in 3 days:
- Check your bank statement again as sometimes banks don’t send an SMS.
- Do not rely on other sources like transaction history on Google Pay.
- If the amount is debited and the transaction is unsuccessful after 3 days:
- The amount must return to the account, check your bank statement again.
- If the amount is successfully transferred and won’t reflect in your account:
- Check your bank statement again as sometimes banks don’t send an SMS.
- Do not rely on other sources like transaction history on Google Pay.
