How to ACCess Alvin Community College email? ›

Students: Your email address is "ACCessID@student.alvincollege.edu", and is also your user account id for Office 365. You may obtain your ACCess ID by visiting The POD's login page and choosing "New Accounts START HERE", and then following the steps for your ACCess ID setup.

The FAFSA is available online. If you list the ACC school code (003539), we will download your information electronically from the Federal Central Processing Center.

The in-district tuition and fees for 2020-2021 were $1,706, in-state tuition and fees were $2,834, and out-of-state tuition and fees were $4,010. There is no application fee. Students can earn degrees and certificates in 41 different fields.

The college is located 30 miles from downtown Houston, and only a few miles from museums, beaches, NASA Johnson Space Center, and all the cultural amenities found in a metropolitan city. The immediate area offers numerous apartments within walking distance from the college campus. There are no dormatories available.

More than 50 scholarships are available through the ACC Foundation's Opportunity Scholarships and ACC's college academic scholarships. Each scholarship will be awarded for the 2021-22 school year. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $2,000 per year.

Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA while attending ACC. Certain programs may require a higher cumulative GPA.

This policy does not apply to courses dropped prior to census day, complete withdrawals from all courses for the semester, courses taken while attending high school, developmental courses, drops from private or out of state institutions, and courses dropped during the three-week mini terms.
